TAG Vision
 

The Guam National Guard is committed to preserving our most precious resources:  Our Service Members, Civilian Employees; and their Families.  Through transformation to the Core Joint Capabilities Force, we will continue to preserve the unique cultural/military heritage of our Asia-Pacific region; providing and maintaining timeless traditions, & values of military service to the nation and our island.  We are dedicated to having mission ready units, for Homeland Defense, Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA), and the National Military Strategy.

TAG Initiatives

  • Recruitment & Retention of Quality Soldiers and Airmen.
  • Increase Officer Recruitment & Improve Professional Development.
  • Expand and Enhance Youth Programs.
  • Establish relevant force structure for Army & Air National Guard to support federal, state and community missions.
  • Acquire adjacent Navy property for future growth of the Guam National Guard.
  • Improve the Quality of Life of our soldiers, airmen and civilian employees by pursuing additional funding to build and maintain our GUARD facilities.
